Fantasy Filmfest: Tony Giglio's TIMBER FALLS

Tony Giglio's Timber Falls is scheduled to have its world première at this year's Fantasy Filmfest in Munich, Germany on July 27th, and to subsequently be screened in various German cities on various dates. Arsenal Pictures LLC is the international sales agent for the movie. U.S. distribution rights for it have been acquired by Freestyle Releasing LLC.

The screenplay for Timber Falls was written by Dan Kay. According to the Internet Movie Database (IMDb), the movie stars Josh Randall as Mike, Brianna Brown as Sheryl, Nick Searcy as Clyde (Searcy is also in Michael A. Nickles' XII), Beth Broderick as Ida, Sascha Rosemann as Deacon, Branden R. Morgan as Brody, T.W. Leshner as Darryl, Ryan McGee as Lonnie, Carl Bressler as Sam, Debbie Jaffe as Evelyn, Suzanna Urszuly as Sarah, and Ryan Wiik as Jason.

Here's a synopsis for Timber Falls from Arsenal Pictures' website: "A young couple camping in the mountains is hunted down and kidnapped by a deranged cult in need of a newborn child."

Here's a description of Timber Falls from the Fantasy Filmfest website: "A camping weekend in the mountains turns into a trip to hell for a young couple, who become pawns in a grotesque plot hatched by deranged locals. As we all know, sweet young couples should never spend time alone in the woods, as they will inevitably become the prey of inbreeding maniacs. Timber Falls, however, offers a new and downright frightening twist to the familiar storyline..."
