Daisuke Yamanouchi's Dead A Go! Go! (Deddo a gô! gô!) is scheduled to be released on DVD (ADE-0584; NTSC, region 2, no subtitles) in Japan on November 24th; his Red Room (Akai misshitsu (heya): kindan no ôsama gêmu) is scheduled to be released on DVD (ADE-0605; NTSC, region 2, no subtitles) there on December 22nd. The distributor of both of the DVD releases is Ace Deuce Entertainment K.K. (K.K. Êsu Dyûsu Entateinmento).
Dead A Go! Go! was originally released on VHS (F158JF-171; NTSC, no subtitles) in Japan by JVD K.K. (K.K. Jei Bui Dî) - a.k.a. "Japan Video Distribution" - on December 24, 1999. Red Room was originally released on VHS (F158JF-156; NTSC, no subtitles) in Japan by JVD on June 4, 1999.
The screenplay for Dead A Go! Go! was written by Yamanouchi. The movie's principal cast was as follows: Eri Inazumi (Inadumi Eri), Naruho Katagi (a.k.a. Naruho Kataki), Masato Horii, Tarô Iwate, Shigeki Katô, Tomomi Aizawa, Kyôko Saiki, Nami Fujita, Yukie Shimosako, and Salmon Sakeyama (Sâmon Sakeyama).
The screenplay for Red Room was written by Yamanouchi. The movie's principal cast was as follows: Yuki Tsukamoto, Mayumi Ôkawa, Hiroshi Kitasenju, and Sheena Nagamori (Nagamori Shîna).
As was previously reported here on ScreenAnarchy, Yamanouchi's Sisters of Blood (Senketsu no kizuna: kichiku reipuhan o shinkan saseta shimai) was released on DVD (ADE-0564; NTSC, region 2, no subtitles) in Japan on September 23rd, and his Kyoko vs. Yuki (Saikyô joshikôsê densetsu: Kyôko vs Yuki ["joshikôsê" = joshikôsei]) was released on DVD (ADE-0569; NTSC, region 2, no subtitles) there on October 21st; Ace Deuce Entertainment also distributed both of those releases. Unearthed Films officially announced back in March that it will be releasing Sisters of Blood, Red Room, and Yamanouchi's Red Room 2 (Shin akai misshitsu (heya): kowareta ningyô-tachi) on DVD in the U.S. some time in the future.
Yamanouchi's other directing credits include Mu Zan E (Muzan-e: AV gyaru satsujin bideo wa sonzai shita!), Girl Hell 1999 (Shôjo jigoku ichi kyû kyû kyû), Yumeno Maria: chô-inran onna no shiseikatsu, Zetsurin gifu: shonanoka no wafuku niizuma, and Joshiryô no kôshoku oyaji: yaneura no nozoki-ana [viewer discretion is advised].
