Hajime Hashimoto's GOKUDÔ NO ONNA-TACHI: JÔEN, w/ Reiko Takashima, Aya Sugimoto, Ai Maeda, Misaki

Hajime Hashimoto's Gokudô no onna-tachi: jôen is scheduled to be released on sale DVD (DSTD-02442; NTSC, region 2, no subtitles) in Japan by Toei Video K.K. (Tôei Bideo K.K.) on October 21st. As was previously reported here on ScreenAnarchy, the movie was released theatrically in Japan by Toei Video on March 26th.

The screenplay for Gokudô no onna-tachi: jôen was written by Kôji Takada, and was ultimately based on the allegedly non-fiction book by Shôko Ieda (see below). The movie's principal cast (as listed on the cast and staff page of the official website) is as follows: Reiko Takashima, Aya Sugimoto, Jundai Yamada, Naoki Hosaka, Ai Maeda, Misaki (a.k.a. Misaki Mori), Kanako Fukaura, Shun Sugata, Hideo Sakaki, Naomasa Musaka, Yutaka Matsushige, Shôko Ieda (see above), Akira Yano, Minoru Ôki, Naoya Makoto, Michihiro Yamanishi, Masataka Naruse (a.k.a. Tadashi Naruse), and Susumu Terajima.
