The Many Faces Of George Clooney
Believe it or not, when From Dusk Till Dawn hit cinemas I did not know who George Clooney was. Worse: friends of mine refused to go see the film because they knew him from television and he was a "pretty boy wuss".
Needless to say, coming out of the cinema I didn't understand at all what they were talking about.
And in the years that followed, I've only started to like him more and more. While his pretty glamor look for the press can make me barf, at the same time I cannot quite shake the feeling he's spoofing himself when he flashes that standard smile. As a director and producer he has often scored major points with me for supporting quite some edgy material. When paired with the right director, he can also be an impressive actor indeed.
So once again I'm going to use a gallery of eight close-ups of one of my favorite thespians to make a quiz. Click through the images and guess which eight movies they're from. No competition, no prizes, just for fun, try to see how far you get without using IMDB.
