Stallone And Schwarzenegger In First Shots From THE TOMB

After years of being big screen rivals it appears that things are turning into a regular love-in between Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sylvester Stallone. The aging action stars first appeared together in The Expendables and will do so again in The Expendables 2 and they have a third project together in Mikael Hafstrom's The Tomb.

Ray Breslin is the world's foremost authority on structural security. After analyzing every high security prison and learning a vast array of survival skills so he can design escape-proof prisons, his skills are put to the test. He's framed and incarcerated in a master prison he designed himself. He needs to escape and find the person who put him behind bars.

Yes, it's basically Prison Break with larger, older stars. The cast includes a number of solid names - Jim Caviezel, Vincent D'Onofrio, Sam Neill - though they are going to be asked to balance out Vinnie Jones and 50 Cent.

A first quartet of images have arrived from the film and it's interesting to see how they're allowing Schwarzenegger, in particular, to play around his own age. Most action stars - stars of all sorts, really - resist the aging process and between this and The Last Stand, Schwarzenegger seems to instead be taking a page out of the Clint Eastwood playbook and embracing the weathered look.
