First Official Still of Arnie & Sly in THE TOMB

While next weekend will see the big screen explode with both Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger (plus pretty much every 80s action hero you can get a flex out of) in The Expendables 2, Mikael Håfström's sci-fi actioner The Tomb is where Arnie and Sly co-lead. Back in May we got a behind-the-scenes sneak on set. Now that pic yer takin' a gander at above is the film's first official still, released today thanks to The Wall Street Journal. It's zilch on action, but hey, there's both Arnie and Sly looking mighty perturbed/concerned. So what's up with their get-up and the setting?

Ray Breslin (Stallone) is the world's foremost authority on structural security. After analyzing every high security prison and learning a vast array of survival skills so he can design escape-proof prisons, his skills are put to the test. He's framed and incarcerated in a master prison he designed himself. He needs to escape and find the person who put him behind bars

With a supporting cast that includes Jim Caviezel, Vincent D'Onofrio, Sam Neill, Faran Tahir, 50 Cent, and Amy Ryan one can at least expect a lot on dramatic intensity too (not just punching). You know, probably some spitting and eye-squinting, pointing and certainly some mano-a-mano, nose-to-nose sizing up. While no release date has been announced, The Tomb is expected to bow sometime in 2013.
