EFM: Nick Cohen's VOODOO LAGOON
Distribution rights for Nick Cohen's Voodoo Lagoon are being offered for sale by Shoreline Entertainment Inc. at this year's European Film Market (EFM) in Berlin, Germany.
The screenplay for Voodoo Lagoon was written by Cohen. The movie stars Ashley Hamilton as Tom, John Noble as Ben, Lara Cox as Carolina, Lincoln Lewis as Aaron, Erika Heynatz as Penny, Natalie Blair as Kate, Beau Brady as Lee, and Kelly Atkinson as Jessica.
Here's a synopsis for Voodoo Lagoon from Shoreline Entertainment's website: "A group of college students book a bargain dream holiday to a remote tropical island, little knowing that they have been lured there by the island's evil owner to fulfill an ancient voodoo prophecy.
Soon, what appears to be paradise is transformed as friends and siblings are pitched against each other in a desperate fight for survival. Doubt, suspicion and panic splinter the group as each member begins to fall victim to the terrifying reality of their own worst nightmares.
Can those who are left find the strength to confront and overcome the fear that will otherwise be their end, or will the voodoo curse win out?"
