Exclusive Clip: HELIO, A Different Kind of Hell

Recently debuting at the Comic Con Independent Film Festival in San Diego, California, where it won the prize for best sci-fi/fantasy film, Helio peers under the ground and discovers a different kind of hell. We have an exclusive clip to pique your interest.

Here's the official synopsis:

Helio is a short, visceral film centered on a post apocalyptic underground society where miners work for light to survive. But when a dying rebel thrusts the unexpected onto an unassuming worker's lap, all hell breaks loose. What begins as one man's race to escape the hostile government quickly escalates into a city-wide uprising of the people.

Teddy Cecil wrote and directed. Barrett James stars. The film, which looks quite cool, runs just under 20 minutes. It will be released on Vimeo on Wednesday, July 27. You can watch our exclusive clip, as well as a teaser trailer, below.
