BED OF THE DEAD: First Trailer Promises Restless Nights And Lots of Blood
The fine lads at Black Fawn Films are at it again. Just before the weekend they released the first trailer for one of their upcoming productions Bed of the Dead. This is hot on the heels of the announcement of the World Premiere at Fantasia this Saturday, July 16th. We were busy hanging out with some of the crew in Hamilton at a horror expo this past weekend which is why we are getting to it now.
Two young couples out for a night of debauchery at the city’s oldest sex club find themselves stuck on a haunted antique bed where leaving means suffering a gruesome fate. Plagued with frightening hallucinations, they must figure out the bed’s secrets before they are picked off one by one.But when they call the police for help they are connected with a hard nosed detective who at that very moment is investigating the death of four young people at the same sex club in the same antique bed!
Bed of the Dead is the debut feature of long time Black Fawn cinematographer Jeff Maher (Antisocial, BITE and the upcoming Let Her Out). It was produced by Chad Archibald (The Drownsman), Cody Calahan (Antisocial) and Christopher Giroux (Let Her Out). Calahan wrote the screenplay with Maher.
