On something of a hot streak lately, Dominic Cooper was to have played the lead in Albert Hughes' upcoming Motor City opposite Gary Oldman and Amber Heard but the down side to being hot is being busy and Cooper has had to drop off the project due to schedule issues. Enter Jake Gyllenhaal, the star of Source Code and Jarhead now reportedly in negotiations to take over the lead.
Based on a Black List script by Chad St John - one that plays out almost entirely without dialogue - Gyllenhaal will play a man tracking down the men who framed him and sent him to prison. Oldman will play the lead villain.
