Vatican Conspiracy Film 444 Is Two Thirds Of The Way To Being The Ultimate Evil!
I tease about the title of this one because ... well ... how can you not, really? It's the first in what is meant to be a trilogy of film revolving around the Vatican and the CIA collaborating to cover up the true nature of evil and demons. And while the title is not actually a reference to the number of the beast - at least I don't think so - but rather the time at which the clocks in a town subjected to demonic attack froze, well ... they might want to change that title if they want people to take the film seriously.
And people really should take the film seriously because the initial teaser is quite good.
To be directed by Dario Cioni - a heavily in-demand AD whose resume covers the Italian shoots of big budget spectacles like Star Wars and who has made this pages before thanks to his web-serial Tigri Di Carta - and backed by LA based Luminex Films, the English language trilogy will be made up of 444 The Analysis, 444 The Antithesis and 444 The Synthesis. Here's the official synopsis:

Check the very effective teaser below.Father Christopher and father Peter are exorcists. They arrive in a town in the Alps. The place is almost deserted and, it seems, possessed by the devil. Not a single clock works. They all show 4:44, as if time ceased to flow.
Only three people are left in town. Orlando, a cripple that walks with the help of a stick; Eve, a doctor of few words; and Serena, a woman in her thirties, melancholic and mysterious.
All around them is death and destruction, and soon the two priests personally witness episodes of devil possession.
Somebody has to stop the devil, immediately. Its cove is the Roman-age iron mine that overlooks town. The priests are followed by Lieutenant Finley, he will provide military support to the mission.
When the men enter the mine. Eve shows them a prehistoric wall painting that all town people knew about. It depicts the devil. It's time for the two exorcists to unveil their real mission. They explain to Eve that the devil doesn't really exist, at least not in the common sense. They are priests, no doubt about it. But their exorcism is to hunt for "creatures", that look exactly like the devilish figure they saw painted on the wall. Creatures, that have controlling over the evolution of mankind, back in Paleochristian age have seed the cult of the devil, so that men would fear falling into evil paths.
