Stephen Chow And Tsui Hark Appear Unimpressed With The First Trailer For Their Own JOURNEY TO THE WEST: DEMON CHAPTER

A pair of absolute titans have joined forces for the upcoming Journey To The West: Demon Chapter with Kung Fu Hustle's Stephen Chow producing and Once Upon A Time In China's Tsui Hark directing and the duo are clearly having a bit of fun together.

With this latest adaptation of the sprawling Chinese folk tale due for release in January the first teaser for the picture has just arrived and it's a bit of an odd one, made up entirely of raw footage without any VFX work included, followed by Chow and Hark sitting on a couch arguing about what they just saw.

When you have names this big working on a title with a simply enormous built in audience - there's simply nothing bigger than Journey To The West in China - you can get away with pretty much whatever you want in the marketing as massive audiences are going to turn out no matter what, so it's good to see them having a bit of fun with it. Check it out below!

Proof that you don't have to know what he's saying for Stephen Chow to be funny. Tsui's no slouch either.

I miss seeing Stephen Chow acting in films. The grey/white hair looks good too ! So is this a sequel to Chow's film or something completely different?
