The second trailer for Jonathan Liebesman's Battle: Los Angeles has arrived on Apple and all there really is to say is "Yes, please."
If Liebesman's goal was to take the intelligent, pseudo-verite style of District 9 and fuse it to a more commercial, alien invasion spectacle then I would say it's a job well done.
After years of shoddy output content to recycle past stories it looks as though Liebesman may be joining Neill Blomkamp and Duncan Jones among the ranks of young directors giving science fiction a much needed shot of fresh energy.
