The Battle: Los Angeles trailer that aired during the Super Bowl has arrived online and - like everything else associated with this particular film so far - it look astounding.
It appears to these eyes as though director Jonathan Liebesman is aiming to take the ultra-realistic and gritty design aesthetic of District 9 and push it out into a large scale action picture and he certainly seem to have the chops to pull it off. Also very encouraged by the presence of Aaron Eckhart in the lead as he seems the sort of actor that can ground this in some sort of reality. Yes, please.
