What Is Neill Blomkamp's AGM HEARTLAND?

Here's an intriguing mystery for fans of District 9 director Neill Blomkamp. Included in the iPad edition of the current issue of Wired is a one minute teaser titled AGM Heartland, a teaser that arrives with no explanation and no fanfare. All that it included was a simple statement that the video was by Neill Blomkamp.

So what is it? It appears to revolve around some sort of government regulated creature. So a comment on the genetic modification of the food supply? Is it a feature? A new short? A web series. Nobody really knows yet but you can watch it below.
