Nominations for KBS 연기대상 (KBS Drama Awards) Announced

Without a doubt, KBS had one of its best years ever. They produced quality Dramas, but also popular hits; they made new stars, and took advantage of the many talented veterans in the industry. They've become, essentially, the new MBC, balancing quantity and quality. They didn't have all the problems and didn't make the bad decisions which plagued MBC's 2005, nor banked on pretty faces and overseas locations like SBS. December 31 not only marks the end of a fantastic year for KBS, but also the day they'll reveal their 연기대상 (KBS Drama Awards) Winners.

No major surprises with nominations, highlighting some of the best Dramas of the year, and some of the most popular.

A quick word about the Awards: 'Best Actor/Actress' usually go to mature performers, people who've shown their talent in the past; Best Leading Actor/Actress are awards just like the one you find in film. Also, actors can be nominated for several Dramas. At the end of the nomination list, I added who I think should win, and who has more chances to win realistically, just to have a little fun.
