"They're Bad People. They Should Suffer." Full KILL LIST Trailer.

UK distributors Optimum releasing have been teasing Ben Wheatley's Kill List for the past week now and today is the day when the world gets a look at the first full trailer. A riveting horror picture unlike anything seen on screens for decades Wheatley's second feature film caused a sensation at its SXSW premiere with audiences scrambling to find ways of praising it without spoiling its secrets. Because, make no mistake, this is a film that plays better the less you know about it.

Eight months after a disastrous job in Kiev left him physically and mentally scarred, ex-soldier turned contract killer Jay (Maskell), is pressured by his partner Gal (Smiley), into taking a new assignment. The film follows as they descend into the dark, disturbing world of the contract, Jay begins to unravel once again -- his fear and paranoia sending him deep into the heart of darkness.

Full marks to Optimum, then, who have crafted a trailer for the film that catches the mood of the thing without spoiling any major details or even giving anything beyond the most basic feel of the characters. Even the pull quotes they've used stay away from specifics. Total Film premiered the trailer this morning and you can see it below.
