According to The Associated Press, the erotic comedy 3D Sex and Zen: Extreme Ecstasy has taken the Hong Kong box office by storm, earning 17 million Hong Kong dollars (US$2.2 million) since opening on Tuesday last week. On opening day, it took in 2.78 million Hong Kong dollars, surpassing the previous first-day Hong Kong record of 2.63 million, set by Avatar.
