Invisible Waves Delayed to 2006

Pen-Ek Ratanaruang's Invisible Waves was notable in its absence from the Venice Film Festival lineup and rumor was that it was omitted from the lineup there simply because it wasn't going to be ready on time for Venice or any of the other major festivals this year. That rumor would appear to be confirmed ... sometime in the last few days Fortissimo Films have updated their listing for the film, changing the 2005 delivery date to 2006. The film is in the can - hence these behind the scenes shots - so I can only assume that it has bogged down somewhere along the line in post production ...
