THE HOME: Watch The Trailer For Gustavo Cooper's Short Film

If you remember, a while back we started talking about what was next for Gustavo Cooper, director of June. Inspired by a real-life story from Ireland, Cooper began working on a new project he called The Home. We premiered a nifty poster not too long ago. Well, now we are premiering the teaser for that Proof of Concept/short film right here.

Together with actor Peter Cilella (Benson and Moorehead's Resolution and the upcoming The Endless) they wrote and created a Proof of Concept/short film. He ran it by a few of his friends, including some of us here at ScreenAnarchy, and we urged him to get it onto the festival circuit.

Cooper and Cilella also presented their vision for a feature length version of the The Home at the co-prodcution market at Fantastic Fest last month. Trust us when we say that it is a solid, solid idea too. Word came from Cooper today that the project has gained some real traction since all of this began this past Summer.

THE HOME is a short film which is garnering some solid buzz on the festival circuit. Coming off well received screenings at Fantastic Fest, Brooklyn Horror and the Telluride Horror Show, the film, directed by June filmmaker L. Gustavo Cooper, has now been developed into a feature.

Peter Cilella took up writing duties on the script, developing it with Cooper.  Veteran genre producers Alix Taylor (Maniac, In a Valley of Violence) and Nick Phillips (Pet, Straw Dogs) will be producing. And while the feature is coming together, audiences will be able to see the short film in the very near future.

ScreenAnarchy is pleased to continue to support Cooper and Cilella as The Home moves forward.
