Director Shaky Gonzalez and star David Sakurai have teamed up to create something very unusual for their homeland of Denmark: A martial arts drama rooted in the Japanese bushido code. Sweden's Tim Man - a rapidly rising star in the fight world thanks to his stellar work as choreographer on Ninja 2 and the like - provides choreography here while also appearing in a support role and the results thus far are looking very good indeed.

The story is set in a contemporary Scandinavian/Asian environment with a universal story about injustice and loss of innocence combined with recognizing ones destiny.

This is all seen through the eyes of a child and through her experience see how man, despite being protected by morals and a strong code of honor, can be thrown off balance and become overtaken by jealousy, desire, love and revenge.

The film explores her loss of innocence, the child parent relationship with the ongoing struggle to find balance in life and ultimately, her victory over the traumatic experience.
Katinka Elmin Danielsen, Thomas Chaanhing and Nukaka Coster Waldau also star and after premiering the first images from the shoot a little while back we're now pleased to rpesent three additional stills along with an exclusive clip from the film. Take a look below.

For some reason that made me think about Jeff Speakman.

Danish language mixed with Japanese culture and katana fight is like eating bean soup with lemon juice.

That made my day. Thanks. Some nice imagery in there, action is a bit soft and forced. Hope it will fly well.
