AFI Fest 2013 Includes Films From Ti West, Ari Folman, Kim Ki-duk, Plus BORGMAN!
The fine folks at the American Film Institute announced the rest of their line up for the 2013 edition of AFI Fest today and it's a mighty pretty looking bunch of 2013 festival faves from every corner of the globe. Running from November 7-14, the fest will play a whopping total of 119 titles (shorts and features) in 8 days. So my fellow Los Angeles residents, we're going to have to plan accordingly for this one.

Some absolute highlights in a fest full of highlights includes Kim Ki-duk's Moebius, Ari Folman's long awaited The Congress, Ti West's take on found footage horror The Sacrament, Navot Papushado and Aharon Keshlaes' Big Bad Wolves, the film that made Todd eat his own shirt at Fantastic Fest, Matsumoto Hitoshi's R100, Hélène Cattet and Bruno Forzani's The Strange Colour Of Your Body's Tears, and Alex van Warmerdam's Cannes favorite Borgman.

My head is already spinning with excitement and I've barely mentioned the film's that aren't clearly very Twitch/genre friendly. Am I excited for Joanna Hogg's Exhibition? You bet your bottom dollar I am. And just who is Joanna Hogg? One of the best working British directors you probably haven't heard of. Or how about avant-garde filmmakers Ben Rivers and Ben Russel with A Spell To Ward Off The Darkness? Tittle is intriguing on it's own, so...

Below you'll find all of the films announced today, along with the new auteurs selection  announced previously.
