Appearances Are Everything in New AMERICAN MARY Trailer

Jen and Sylvia Soska's American Mary was one of the more exciting discoveries of 2012, throwing a sexy spotlight on the otherwise shady world of body modification and backstreet surgeries. Katharine Isabelle (Ginger Snaps) is fantastic as the titular medical student, forced into moonlighting due to mounting college debts, only to discover that her new identity as a corsetted, scalpel-wielding fixer is infinitely more gratifying and titillating than coping with her sleazy professors. The film, and its rampaging twin sister directors, took FrightFest by storm earlier this year, before doing the same in Austin, TX at Fantastic Fest and embarking on a globe-trotting festival tour that saw the film rake in the awards.
