Give all involved with Universal Soldier: Regeneration their due. They took what could have been - and most expected would be - a cheap cash in on a stale franchise and actually went above and beyond to make the best movie they possibly could. And the results were strong enough that they get to do it again with Universal Soldier: Day Of Reckoning.
Jean Claude Van Damme and Dolph Lundgren are both back for this latest Universal Soldier outing - no mean feat there, considering how thoroughly Lundgren died in the last one - with Scott Adkins on board to bring a bit of fresh blood to things.
The first trailer for this one has just arrived and, once again, it looks far better than you would expect from what will be a dominantly DTV title. It is also far, far more violent than expected. Check it below.
