Terracotta's "Hong Kong 15 Film Festival" Full LIne-up Announced
Taking place at the Odeon Covent Garden, London, from 2nd July until 14th July, the festival kicks off with Ann Hui's multi-award-winning drama, A Simple Life, starring Andy Lau and the highly decorated Deanie Ip, with writer-producer Roger Lee in attendance, on whose life the story is based. Other films in the CURRENTS section include Johnnie To's excellent Life Without Principle, Peter Chan's martial arts drama, Wu Xia, and Jessie Tsang's delightful, micro-budget feature, Big Blue Lake.
Highlights in the 15 YEARS: A REVIEW section include Fruit Chan's awesome indie flick, Made In Hong Kong, Andrew Lau and Alan Mak's seminal thriller Infernal Affairs, as well as Pang Ho Cheung's delightfully bloody satire, Dream Home. On top of these selections, the festival will also screen Shaw Brothers' classics The 36th Chamber of Shaolin and Chang Cheh's One-Armed Swordsman, giving British audiences a rare opportunity to see these martial arts masterpieces on the big screen.
