2nd Trailer for THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN Swings onto the Web
Yes, pardon that headline; I'm food deprived. Now lest we forget amidst the arrival of Earth's Mightiest Heroes and the rising of a certain Dark Knight there is a new summer flick featuring everyone's favorite wall-crawler. The question remains though... will Marc Webb's version of Spidey entice audiences out of their ipad lit, netflix enabled holes? Marketing thus far from Sony has been decent, nothing out of the ordinary, so outside of the wonderfully dead-on casting of Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker, I myself can't say they've done anything to get me psyched to see the film. In fact if it wasn't for Garfield, I'd probably skip seeing the film in the theater all together. Does the new trailer do anything to change my mind... well... maybe. How about you?

I'm confident that this film will be a hit, and surely it will be better than Raimi's disastrous Spider-Man 3.

This new trailer is quite good. I was quite eager to see ASM from the very beginning so trailer doesn't change a thing, I'm waiting for the Wallcrawler more than for the Dark Knight, but then again, it's more my childhood resurfacing within me perhaps. Also, I'n not particulary fond of Nolan's vision, but of Burton's one. I hope that ASM will prove to be great entertainment so I won't be disappointed as with Raimi's SM3.

I've been excited for this since day 1. It seems like a fresh reboot that should put the franchise back in the forefront again. And with Kurtzman/Orci on board for the sequel, I think we have a new super hero to follow for the next few years.
