Willem Dafoe Snarls His Way Through THE HUNTER Trailer!

If the mysterious foreign voiceover and ominous drumming is any sign, I'm seriously hoping there's a moment in The Hunter where Willem Dafoe comes across the mysterious Tasmanian tiger and it turns, grins, and says, "Chaos reigns!" 

Regardless, I've heard this movie -- from the producers of Animal Kingdom as all the posters keep reminding us -- is a great one. It played in Australian cinemas last year to warm reviews.  

Adapted from the book by Julia Leigh (who also just directed a film of her own, the divisive Sleeping Beauty) The Hunter tells the story of a mercenary (Dafoe) who is sent from Europe by a mysterious biotech company to the Tasmanian wilderness on a hunt for the last Tasmanian tiger. There he meets Sam Neill and Frances O'Connor and presumably has a bleak, haunting,  philosophical time in the wilderness at the end of the world.
