HORRIBLE BOSSES on BluRay

Is it the comedy colossus the casting promised? No. Is it a lot of fun? Absolutely. This is a case of underachievement by those who should know better. What should have been a knock out of the park will no doubt entertain as well as slightly disappoint. You get the theatrical and extended versions. The extended adds on roughly 8 minutes. You also get a bunch of featurettes, deleted scenes and some soundtrack stuff. It's a stark reality that most comedies released in a given year have significant failings that keeps them from being all that, well...funny. But most of them don't have such a stellar cast reveling  in the chance to be complete goofballs or a high concept as inherently funny as this one. Colin Farrell is especially good in a role not unlike the kind Tom Cruise tackled in Tropic Thunder (2008) Definitely worth seeing and even likely to become a semi-guilty pleasure in regular rotation. Especially if you have a boss who needs to meet a grisly end.
