Cine Asia / Showbox Pick Up ARROW THE ULTIMATE WEAPON And More For UK Release!

Cine Asia/Showbox are just unstoppable, it seems.  In the shadow of their losses from the Sony fire last month, they have announced several new acquisitions for the fourth quarter of 2011, including recent South Korean action hit, Arrow The Ultimate Weapon.  Also included in their plans are Spanish freak-out Neon Flesh, British horror Panic Button, and Korea's selection for the 2012 Oscars, Front Line.  With Front Line and Arrow, Cine Asia reaffirm their position among the top video labels worldwide in bringing contemporary Asian action to home video.  Great job, guys! On top of that, they've got a whole stack of formerly out of print Hong Kong Legends represses ready to hit stores again this fall on DVD.  Good stuff!  More details below:

7th London Spanish Film Festival - UK Premiere of NEON FLESH on Saturday 24th September | 8.40pm

Wild, hilarious, violent and tender, Paco Cabezas' second film as a director is about Ricky, a young man living in an underworld of pimps, prostitutes and transsexuals. With Ricky's hooker mother about to be released from prison, he arranges to open a new brothel in her honour. Unfortunately, the location he chooses falls within the domain of El Chino, a ruthless gangster... With a cast led by young Spanish heart-throb Mario Casas, Cabezas takes us on a trip full of emotion and action, leading to a nail-biting finish.

The London Korean Film Festival 2011 - European Premiere of ARROW THE ULTIMATE WEAPON and THE FRONT LINE

Cine-Asia are delighted to announce that our release Arrow The Ultimate Weapon has been chosen as the opening film to announce this year's London Korean Film Festival! On Friday 16th September, an exclusive preview screening will be held at The Mayfair Hotel where director Kim Han-Min will be attending and the official programme for the 6th annual London Korean Film Festival will be announced with a champagne reception held after.

European Premiere of THE FRONT LINE
on Friday 4th November | 8.45pm
