BREAKING: Denzel Washington Offered Lead In Billy Ray's THE SECRET IN THEIR EYES
ScreenAnarchy has learned that Denzel Washington has been offered the lead role in the upcoming Warner Brothers backed thriller The Secret In Their Eyes. The picture is a remake of the Oscar winning Argentinian film of the same name from director Juan Jose Campanella to be written and directed by Billy Ray (Shattered Glass, Breach) with Washington offered the lead role played by Ricardo Darin in the original.

Washington is currently scheduled to star in Robert Zemeckis' Flight next so, should he take on the part, this would have to role once his work on that picture is complete.
