FanTasia 2011: Axelle Carolyn's First Short THE LAST POST To Premiere!
Axelle Carolyn has already made her mark as a writer and author about horror film. She's had roles in hubby Neil Marshall's Doomsday and Centurion. And she has been getting behind the camera lately and will debut her first short film The Last Post in Montreal at the FanTasia Film Festival on July 17, 2011, before the premiere of Mike Cahill's Another Earth.
The Last Post follows Colette, an elderly lady in a nursing home, who is visited by a mysterious stranger no one else seems able to see. At once chilling and touching, it isa story of loneliness, old age and regrets, but also of love and hope.
Axelle was kind enough to pass along this first still. Also, Axelle is preparing for her first feature film The Haunted.
