The Director Of DEAD SNOW And KILL BULJO Takes The Piss Out Of First-Person Horror With KURT JOSEF WAGLE AND THE LEGEND OF THE FJORD WITCH
Tommy Wirkola has long been a favorite of these pages, from his Kill Bill spoof Kill Buljo through to his hit Nazi-zombie comedy Dead Snow. Wirkola has a few big projects in the works post-Dead Snow but the man likes to be busy and late in 2009, in a bit of a lull, he packed up some friends and a camera and headed off into the woods to shoot something quick and cheap.
The result is Kurt Josef Wagle And The Legend of the Fjord Witch, a low brow parody of the current first-person horror craze a la Paranormal Activity and [REC].
We ran an early teaser for this one a while back, a teaser now followed by a full trailer. No subtitles on it (yet) but it's not that hard to get the gist. Take a look below.
