CLASH OF THE TITANS trailer arrives
Here it is folks, the new trailer for the upcoming CLASH OF THE TITANS remake. Directed by Louis Leterrier (Danny The Dog, The Incredible Hulk 2008) the following footage has me hopeful for a decent film. With a cast including Sam Worthington, Liam Neeson, Ralph Fiennes, Danny Huston, and the uber awesome Mads Mikkelsen, the onscreen talent is nothing to scoff at. Here's hoping for a worthy successor to a favorite from my childhood.

So tedious. All I can say is wow, that trailer just saved me $10.50.

Scorpions moving to the beat of hardrock (even saluting the music it seems) followed by the tagline: "Titans will clash!". I nearly spilled my coffee from angry laughter.
Oh my, this is surely one of the worst trailers this year.

Then again, bad trailers made me miss Leterrier's "Hulk" in the cinemas last year and in hindsight (BluRay bargain bin) I enjoyed that film a lot more than I expected... so who knows?

The trailer looks like some cheap series from sci-fi channel. Plus, they just stole many ideas from 300 and del Toro.

*yawn*

and that bloody music ALL THE WAY through the trailer. as if that would suddenly makes it all very dangerous and dark

They are targeting definitly the 300 Audiences, so what.
The Trailer rocks, the music is great too.
It works for me as an apetizer, I don't need the story told me right in the face, therefore I go to the theater.

Yeah, I forgot to write in my blurb that the faux black/viking metal soundtrack is uber lame. I'm an orchestral score type of guy all the way when it comes to these types of films.

How can you resist a scorpion that stings to the beat of the music?

bring it! clearly they're borrowing allot of the costume design and weaponry form TROY. But all in in all this looks like allot of fun.

Kurt, don't give up on it yet. Mikkelsen and those other major actors in greek god-mode has got to be worth something. I hope and think this teaser was simply badly put together. I've seen photos and behind the scenes footage that looked more exiting than this mullet rock video thing.

Yeah, a bad trailer to be sure, but for monster movie buffs this could be fun. I read that they used a lot of practical fx to balance out the cg. Here's hoping.
