I'd been holding off mentioning this until the festival itself made the official announcement but it appears that the cat is well and truly out of the bag and word is circulating quickly so there's no point in holding off any more: Scott Sanders' Michael Jai White starring blaxploitation throwback picture Black Dynamite will be receiving its world premiere at the upcoming Sundance Film Festival. Which means fans will have the chance to wake up the other bitches in Mormon country.
This is the story of 1970’s action legend Black Dynamite. When “The Man” murders his brother, pumps heroin into local orphanages, and floods the ghetto with adulterated malt liquor, Black Dynamite is the one hero willing to fight all the way from the blood-soaked city streets to the hallowed halls of the Honky House.
Check the Black Dynamite trailers in the ScreenAnarchy Player below the break. But not if you're at work unless you want to get yourself fired.
