"Hero" has remained in the top spot for a sixth week bringing its total Japanese box office take at over 60 Million (USD). "Hero" has so far earned more than all of the other films in the top ten combined. Peter Berg's "The Kingdom" (in Japan renamed "Miezaru Teki"/The Unseen Enemy) debuts in the No. 2 spot.

Films making their "road show" debut in the coming weeks include Susanne Bier's "Efter brylluppet" (After Wedding with "Casino Royale's" Mads Mikkelsen) 10/27, Oliver Hirschbiegel's "Invasion" (with Nicole Kidman and "Casino Royale's" Daniel Craig) 10/20 and Matthew Vaughn's
"Stardust".
