It's been almost a year now since we last posted about Thai super hero film Mercury Man and FINALLY a trailer has appeared online. And it looks gooooood. The film is about a fireman in Bangkok who gains super powers after an on the job accident and puts his new powers to use fighting terrorists and other assorted bad guys. The kicker on this? It's produced by Ong-Bak director Prachya Pinkaew and has stunt choreography by Panna Rittikrai, the choreographer of Ong-Bak and director of Born to Fight.

The word I'm hearing is that post production is taking longer than expected and the film is expected to open in Thai theaters in 2007.
