Holy Sweet Mother! The Reflecting Skin Has Hit DVD!

Oh, sweet lord ... Hamish MacBeth and The Reflecting Skin in the same day ... I've just knocked the top two items off of my "Why Doesn't This Exist on DVD?" list, meaning I'm going to have to find something new to gripe about.

Philip Ridley's fantastic and enormously overlooked film The Reflecting Skin - starring a young Viggo Mortensen - was given a DVD release in Japan sometime this spring. I have no money to spend on films right now but that didn't stop me. Nope. It's on the way. Alas, the Japanese edition of Ridley's Passion of Darkly Noon appears to have gone out of print.
