The screenplay for Nephesh Seed was written by Chuah. The movie apparently stars Sze-Zen Wong as Ying-Ying's mother, Alvin Wong as the neighbour, Vick Teo as Ying-Ying's uncle, Amber Chia as the psychiatrist, and nine-year-old Jiun-Jiun Leong as Ying-Ying.
