Hey NYC! Wanna Win Tix To DON'T BE AFRAID OF THE DARK?
We've got 10 pairs of passes to give away to an advance screening of the Guillermo del Toro produced haunted house creeper, Don't Be Afraid Of The Dark. It all goes down the evening of August 18th at a Manhattan location that will be disclosed to our winners. These will be reserved seats too, so winners need to get there early, and no later than 6:45pm! That means if you can't commit time-wise, please don't enter. Beyond that, all you have to do is email me here under the subject line "Dark Tix" with your full name in the email body, by Sunday, August 14th 6pm EST.

Guillermo del Toro presents DON'T BE AFRAID OF THE DARK, a horror film starring Katie Holmes, Guy Pearce and Bailee Madison, directed by Troy Nixey.  Based on the 1973 telefilm that del Toro believes is the scariest TV production ever made, the story follows Sally (Madison), a young girl who moves to Rhode Island to live with her father (Pearce) and his new girlfriend (Holmes) in the 19th-century mansion they are restoring. While exploring the house, Sally starts to hear voices coming from creatures in the basement whose hidden agenda is to claim her as one of their own.  Akin to del Toro's PAN'S LABYRINTH, DON'T BE AFRAID OF THE DARK focuses on a young girl's struggle against menacing and terrifying forces.
