Recently, the PIA Film Festival (PFF) official website updated its "PFF nyûsen kantoku saishinsaku jôei jôhô" page, which provides info on current/upcoming movies by Japanese directors who, in the past, have had movies selected for PFF. The page currently provides info on 14 movies; they are as follows: Izuru Narushima's Fly, Daddy, Fly (Furai, dadi, furai) [see ScreenAnarchy article here]; Akira Ogata's Itsuka dokusho suru hi; Takahiko Akiyama's Hinokio; Tomoyuki Furumaya's Sayonara, Midori (Sayonara Midori-chan); Isshin Inudô's Maison de Himiko (Mezon do Himiko) [see ScreenAnarchy article here]; Kentarô Ôtani's Nana; Yoshihiro Nakamura's Asoko no seki; Yoshihiro Nakamura's @babymail (@beibîmêru); Isshin Inudô's Touch (Tacchi); Shun'ichi Nagasaki's Christmas in August (8-gatsu no Kurisumasu) [see ScreenAnarchy article here]; Akihiko Shiota's Kono mune ippai no ai o; Sang-il Lee's Scrap Heaven (Sukurappu hebun); Shiori Kazama's World's End / Girl Friend (Sekai no owari); and Makoto Tezuka's Burakku Jakku: futari no kuroi isha (or "Black Jack: futari no kuroi isha", if you prefer back-transliterations).

Yûsuke Yamada wrote the eponymous novels on which these movies were based. (He also wrote the eponymous short story on which Yôhei Takahashi's 8.1 (a.k.a. "Hatten'ichi") was based.)
