TRAINSPOTTING 2: Older But Still The Same, The Boys Are Back in First Trailer

The new Trainspotting 2 teaser copies its predecessor in the audio & visual departments, mimicking a scene from the original 1996 film. A train shuttles across its tracks to reveal our gang of city boys looking decidedly out of place at a tree-lined station.

They may look a little older but the sound of Iggy Pop’s Lust for Life, the distinctive orange and white colour palette and the iconic numbered role-call are all too familiar: #1 Spud (Ewen Bremner), #2 Renton (Ewan McGregor), #3 Sick Boy (Jonny Lee Miller), and Begbie #4 (Robert Carlyle) are back.

Find out why Begbie isn’t kicking the shit out of thieving Renton on 27th January 2017.
