Brazil's Urban Legends Come To Life With THE FOSTERING (O DIABO MORA AQUI)
We first came across Brazilian directing duo Dante Vescio and Rodrigo Gasparini in these parts when the talented pair submitted their short M Is For Mailbox as part of the ABCs Of Death 2 26th director contest. And now there is good news for those hoping to see more from the duo with word that they are currently in production on their feature debut, The Fostering.
Set in an isolated country house where the latest round in a centuries old conflict between the living and the dead is about to play out, The Fostering is the first volley in a much larger project titled Urbania from producer / creator M.M. Izidoro, a project which will dive deep into Brazil's urban legends in a format that will span both film and television.
