If you followed our coverage of Stanley 2014 then you know that this weekend getaway fest nestled in the Rocky Mountains is one of the coolest things happening in the US festival world. And if you're into scary movies, well you're probably already lined up to buy your tix. Well wait no more. As of today, Stanley Film Fest is selling their All Access Packages (which includes 3 nights at the awesomely creepy Stanley Hotel) for the completely coincidental price of $666/person (other packages and passes also available).
Here are some more details on the fest:
Set at the notoriously haunted and historic Stanley Hotel, inspiration for Stephen King's THE SHINING, the Stanley Film Festival (SFF) showcases the best in classic and contemporary horror cinema in beautiful Estes Park, Colorado. Presented by NBC Universal's Chiller, the SFF will take place April 30-May 3, 2015. Produced by the Denver Film Society, the festival is dedicated to crafting a more interactive experience for genre filmmakers and fans.
"We are thrilled to once again partner with the Stanley Hotel to produce this festival," said Tom Botelho, Executive Director, Denver Film Society."We invite fans of horror to delve deep into the paranormal mysteries of the hotel and come play with us this spring at the Stanley Film Festival."
With all sorts of interactive activities at the festival outside of just the films, Program Director Landon Zakheim hits it on the nose when he invites attendees to become "fully immersed in our dark playground."
Get thee to Stanley. The fest kicks off April 30 and runs until May 3.
