File under About Bloody Time. Guy Maddin's upcoming feature, Keyhole, has a role for Udo Kier! The Winnipeg Free Press is describing it as a Homer-esque story in which "a gangster returns home after a long absence toting a drowned girl, who has mysteriously returned to life, and a bound-and-gagged hostage, who is actually his own teenage son. His odyssey is through his own house one room at a time until he arrives in the boudoir of his wife" Jason Patric, Isabella Rossellini and Kevin McDonald also star. This is looking to be Maddin's most high profile project in some time, and quite different that what was described in Toronto 2008 during the sneak preview the concept of Keyhole that Maddin did for the Toronto International Art Fair, so I wonder if the project has evolved a lot since that time, and whether or not John Ashbery is still involved.
