Those fine folks at Beyond Fest have announced the full line-up of features, reperatory, anniversary and 4K screenings at this year's festival.
It is virtually a cinematic cornucopia of fresh hits and venerated classics. If someone cannot find something they want to see in this year's line-up that sounds like a them problem. There is something for everyone.
There is the previously announced retrospective of M. Night Shyamalan's works. Robert Eggers will take over the Egyptian Theatre for a day-long celebration on his works. Dolph Lundgren will attend a double bill of Andrew Holmes’ documentary Dolph: Unbreakable paired with Roland Emmerich’s classic, Universal Soldier. Ken Russell's The Devils will simultaneously have two 35mm screenings at the Egyptian Theatre and Aero Theatre on one day during the festival.
Then there are the guests. On top of Shyamalan, Eggers and The Dolph, other guests incude Conor Oberst, Jamie Lee Curtis, Matt Berry, Michael Mann, RZA, Danny DeVito, Al Pacino, Martin Brest, Fede Álvarez, Rodo Sayagues, Stephen Lang and Jeremy Saulnier.
