The Many Faces Of Charles Dance

This week, Thea Sharrock's adaptation of Jojo Moyes' novel Me Before You arrives in cinemas, starring Sam Claflin and Emilia Clarke, who we all know as Daenerys in Game of Thrones. But lo-and-behold, another "throner" pops up in the cast list: the awesome Charles Dance, who played Tywin Lannister in that series.

Charles Dance will turn 70 this year, but he's as far removed from a feeble old man stereotype as you can imagine. With his icy stare and imposing physique, he can still intimidate the shit out of anyone. For decades he's been playing all kinds of villains, in films dark and light, but his forays into other roles have also proven him to be a magnificent all-round actor.
