The latest cult film offering from the lads at Astron-6 is the Giallo inspired horror fest The Editor is coming to a cinema near you this Friday. That is, if you live in Ontario, Canada. I do not know what is up with the rest of my country but there you have it.
This hilarious send-up of classic genre cinema, spins the twisted tale of a once-prolific film editor who becomes the prime suspect in a series of murders haunting a seedy 1970s film studio. Rey Ciso was once the greatest editor the world had ever seen. Since a horrific accident left him with four wooden fingers on his right hand, he's had to resort to cutting pulp films and trash pictures. When the lead actors from the film he's been editing turn up murdered at the studio, Rey is fingered as the number one suspect. The bodies continue to pile up in this absurdist giallo-thriller as Rey struggles to prove his innocence and learns the sinister truth lurking behind the scenes.

That reversible cover comes with the original poster designed by Graham Humphreys. On the reverse side is the poster designed by The Dude Designs. For sake of those of weak constitutions certain parts of the female anatomy have been covered by the title on one and a knife on the other. Which begs the question, why are they even looking at these covers. Pansies! The Editor comes loaded with bonus features, including reversible art, an audio commentary with Adam Brooks, Connor Sweeney, and Matt Kennedy; a brand new "Making Movies Used to Be Fun" documentary; deleted scenes; music and poster featurettes; and more!
