Any doubts about whether the Evil Dead films could translate into a television series have now been soundly quelled by this awesome first trailer for the show Ash Vs Evil Dead. 

After a brief rundown of the franchise's history the trailer gets right into the action and comedy. The Mighty Chin is still bringing his comedic chops and hasn't lost his skills with the boomstick. Nor does the show looks to shy away from the blood and guts as you will see. That head shot into the cupboard? Amazing!

Ash Vs Evil Dead debuts on Starz on October 31st.
