Morgan himself has penned the last five Fast & Furious films. Things did not start off okay with Tokyo Drift but got steadily crazier with the four after that once Justin Lin took over and James Wan took the mantle for Furious 7.
Mark Millar is no stranger to fantastic film either. His graphic novels Wanted, Kick-Ass and the recent Kingsman: The Secret Service have all enjoyed some level of success in their transitions to film.
And now on to some freaky stuff. Take another look at that cover. Do you see the optical illusion that artist Sean Gordon Murphy put in it? Do not stress out if you can. after the first issue dropped Murphy revealed the illusion via his Twitter account.
If you can't see the green hourglass, don't strain yourself too hard trying to focus it into existence for you -- only 1 in 15 people can apparently make it out. The illusion is a form of synesthesia, where only a certain way your brain is wired will let you see the inherent colours of the hourglass in the watch face. via io9
How cool is that? I am not one of those in the fifteen that can see that, but again, how cool is that? Now I have to go to my local den of geekdom and pick up a copy to see what potential Universal sees in this property.
