With all the hullabaloo surrounding the releases of The Hobbit: Battle of the Five Armies and especially The Interview, you'd almost forget there are more films opening wide in the West. This week, A Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb premieres as well, and it may be notable as one of the last productions with the late, lamented Robin Williams.
Known of course as an on-screen clown and a mean-and-manic stage comedian, Robin Williams surprised everyone by turning out to be quite a formidable drama actor as well. While he has been in a few insufferable and saccharine roles, these are easily outnumbered by many great performances, ranging from sweet, to angry, to outright creepy. With Robin, we lost both a great comedian and a great actor this year.
Therefore, once again I'm going to use a gallery of fifteen close-ups of one of my favorite thespians to make a quiz. Click through the images and guess which fifteen movies they're from! No competition, no prizes, just for fun, try to see how far you get without using IMDb.
And I'll post the answers next Thursday (earlier if someone has all fifteen of them right).
